Appropriate topics for this list include, but are not limited to: 

• workshops and seminars
• job announcements
• notice of membership changes
• requests for volunteers for committee projects
• committee news
• schedule of hours and changes in policies for local libraries
• news pertinent to the Northern California community
• reference questions that are local in nature (law-lib@ucdavis.edu is a better place to post for general queries)
• hard to find ILL requests that are local in nature (law-lib@ucdavis.edu is a better place to post for general queries)
• "calls to action" (i.e., writing letters to legislators, etc.)

Since everyone does not have access to e-mail, please do not use this as a substitute for the NOCALL Newsletter. If what you post is really important, make sure you follow up with the newsletter editor.

HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE

There are three ways to unsubscribe:

1. Click on the link at the bottom of any NOCALL e-mail to unsubscribe.
2. Send an email to leave-nocall-list63050C@aallnet.org.
3. Go to http://share.aallnet.org/read/my_forums/?forum=nocall-list, log in, and unsubscribe from the NOCALL list.

• Avoid uploading very long documents to the discussion group. If you want to make a long document available, give the URL information, or offer to make it available via e-mail. Try not to type in all caps. Otherwise, it looks like you are SHOUTING.
• Always include a descriptive subject line.
